I am a Registered BACP Member and a Qualified Integrative Counsellor. I offer clients a Person Centered non judgmental space, to work through what is best for them. I work in an integrative way, Person Centered offering empathy and acceptance. Psychodynamic gaining understanding into how the unconscious effects the present. Cognitive behavioral reviewing and renewing patterns of behavior and belief systems. Using these therapies helps clients gain insight and make positive changes.

About me and my practice

I am currently working as a counsellor helping clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological problem's. My practice offers help with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, loss, relationship difficulties that are affecting their lives.

I offer short term and long-term counselling. However the sessions are regularly reviewed to find out how the therapy is effecting the client and what is changing for them. I encourage clients to be open with how they feel about their sessions in order to enhance their experience and get the most out of it.

I work with Adults, Young Adults, Organizations, Trainees. People who are on the Autistic Spectrum.

I can offer face to face or online therapy. Outdoor therapy. Telephone Therapy.

Fees are £50 per therapeutic hour. One session per week. An initial Assessment session (50mins)

What I can help with

I have worked for two Counselling agencies for several years building up extensive experience. I have counselled clients in areas such as bereavement, sexual abuse, domestic violence, student anxiety and depression ,alcohol dependency, family breakdown, body dysmorphia, coercive control abuse, assertiveness, Scrupulosity, food addiction.

I have had additional training for continuing professional development in Child Counselling and Psychotherapy. Work Shop NICE guidelines for Suicide and Self Harm. Couple counselling a systematic procedure. Workshop on Working with Male Victims of Domestic Abuse.

Qualifications

CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling BACP Approved Qualification. Registered Member of the BACP

Certificate of Proficiency with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy

CPCAB level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
NCFE Certificate in Counselling
St Johns Extension Studies Introduction to Pastoral Counselling

I also work as a Learning Support Assistant at a Special educational emotional behavioral School. I live in Kent on the borders of Surrey.

Initial Consultation

After contact by email a phone appointment by mutual arrangement would be set up for the initial consultation. This will help us to find out a little bit more about each other and a short assessment would be done via the phone.

Fees

£50 per therapeutic hour. Paid into the practice Bank account before each session. 24 hours advance warning for cancellation, unless an emergency, otherwise payment will be necessary within 24hrs. 2 weeks advance warning for holidays give via counsellor. All correspondence to be confirmed by email by client.

When I Work

I am available on Mondays, Thursday, Friday, Saturdays and some evenings.
